The Real Theatre Company Presents: ALICE IN WONDERLAND

The third production in this series for The Real Theatre Company, will be ALICE IN WONDERLAND, to be staged at The CENTENNIAL GARDENS, in Napier, for ART DECO WEEK, from: Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st February 2021.

This will be a Promenade production, using four different Alices. There will be four performances every half hour, in the morning, from 10 am to 12.00 noon, and 4 performances in the afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Centennial Gardens Napier

This is Outdoor Theatre Where the audience moves from scene to scene through Different Locations In the Centennial Gardens.

The audience will join Alice, as she journeys through scenes from Alice In Wonderland, where you will join in the action with all the characters:

* Alice’s sister, The White Rabbit, The Queen, The King, and the Cards in the Rose garden,The Singing Flowers, the Cheshire Cat in the Tree, The Madhatter, The March Hare, and The Doormouse at the Tea Party, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the Caterpillar on the mushroom and the Mock Turtle in the boat.

The Cast will include well known Hawke’s Bay actors; Lisa Jane Easter and David Brock. We will be auditioning actors later in the year for the other roles.

This production will be directed by David Coddington and was a huge success when it was staged by The Real Theatre Company at The Becrofts Gardens, on The North Shore in Auckland where it was also directed by David Coddington.
